To review codes and standards online, you can simply type in https://www.nfpa.org. This allows you to view the list of NFPA codes and standards and select the document you want to review. You then select the edition of the document you want to read and click the "Free access" link (under the document title). You will be asked to "sign-in" or create a profile to access the document in read-only format. Creating a profile does not carry a charge, but it is necessary in order to view any NFPA document for free. Once you have created your profile, you can access any standard for free. There is a charge if you wish to purchase, print or download any NFPA standard.
